Cajatom: A world first!

Cajatom is a new kind of musical instrument which combines the functions of drums, percussion and battery, thus enabling musicians and drummers to create new rhythms and sounds. The name Cajatom comes from the names of two different percussion instruments. One is from the Spanish Cajón and the other from the Persian Tombak.

The Cajatom is a drum consisting of four percussion surfaces. When being played, all the surfaces are easily accessible, allowing the player full musical expression.

The rotating seat on top of the Cajatom allows the drummer to reach each of the drums very quickly and thus to achieve astonishing results in rhythm and sounds.
