Framedrum
Frame drums are known all over the world and are built in different shapes and with different names.
The main structure is made of bentwood or plywood with different tuning systems, or simply with
stretched skin.

I build the frames from several pieces of solid wood, gluing them together and then turning them into
two rings. The larger ring receives twelve screws which are not visible from the outside.

The goat skin which is mainly used, is stretched over both rings, and with the help of the screws of
the upper ring can be easily adjusted. Thus the skin that is stretched over it can be easily tuned.
