Kaskarita is a musical instrument developed by Majid Karami (MAJICS DRUMS) which has recently been patented.
The Kaskarita has the properties of a classic Castanet, with the difference that it can be played in different ways: just with the fingers, with the feet (of interest to drummers), or with the palm of a hand.
The glued Velcro on the bottom of the Kaskarita makes it possible to attach the instrument to any point (as well as to other instruments) and then play it. It is tunable by two screws. Thus the volume and the sound of the instrument can be easily tuned.
Kaskaritas are made of different woods and come in different sizes, therefore they vary in tone and volume.
