Multidrum, wooden frame drum covered with goat skin. Multidrum percussion instrument for playing music

Multidrum

The Multidrum is a completely new kind of percussion instrument that combines two very different genres in one instrument!

Obviously the Multidrum has the shape of a frame drum, and it admirably fulfills this purpose with a selected goatskin on one side of the exquisitly hand-turned frame.

Notable are the different moods - as the skin of the Multidrum can be tuned by pumping with a conventional air pump! The volume of a rubber tube fixed between the skin border and the frame of the drum regulates the tautness of the skin.

Turning the drum at 180 degrees on its axis, on the other side a wooden playing surface made of thin birch comes to view. And then listen - now the Multidrum sounds very much like a Cajon!

This sound is created by snare spirals which can be flexibly adjusted as desired. The playing surface is fixed to the frame in two places slightly apart, so that more tonal nuances can be played in that location.

A high quality and premium manufactured instrument for ambitious percussionists.
